- You can legally drive in New York with a valid driver鈥檚 license from another U.S. state or from another country.
- You do not need a New York State driver鈥檚 license unless you become a resident. Residency generally means living in New York with the intent to make it your permanent home or staying for 90 days or more. Students are usually not considered residents.

- The IDP translates your license into multiple languages, which helps law enforcement and rental agencies.
- You must obtain an IDP from your home country before traveling to the U.S.; it cannot be issued in the U.S. ,
- If you decide to apply for a NY license, you must pass a written test, a 5-hour pre-licensing course, and a road test.
- Your NY license will be marked 鈥淭emporary Visitor鈥 and will expire on the same date as your immigration documents (such as your visa or I-94).
- You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to get a NY license, but you must show proof of legal status and identity.

There are many services that offer shuttle rides to and from JFK to 榴莲视频's surrounding area. Please find your preferred service and book it at least one week in advance. Train is the cheapest way to reach 榴莲视频 but it takes a longer
time and is more complicated with the train changes.
